We went up to Paradise, UT for our family reunion this past week. My cousin Angie and her husband have a resort up there with a lodge and 5 cabins on a river. We had a great time, visiting, eating, playing kickball, dice and Rummikub. We let the kids play in the river catching water snakes and tadpoles and riding in the side-by-side. As you can see, Grandpa West enjoyed it. Weston can't wait to shoot a shot gun, Uncle Jim told him when he is 7. I had all my brothers and sisters, and all of Jims kids, except Nelle (we missed her) on Monday night. We had a great time!!!

Another 5K!
Yesturday, Tauni, Carrie, Mom and I went up to Neola and did their 5K. Mom walked and the rest of us girls ran. We improved our times from last week each by 5 minutes. I did mine in 30 minutes. I couldn't believe it. We were signed up to do the 1/2 marathon, but decided we weren't trained as well as we wanted to be. After running the 5K we wished we had done it, next year we will do it and hopefully the Provo 1/2 marathon, too.
Last night we did fireworks in our driveway and watched the city ones from our backyard. Mom and dad came over for some hotdogs and fruit and hung out.
On the 3rd, we went up to the kids rodeo. I will post pictures soon. Weston wore his comboy hat, shirt and boots. He caught a rabbit, but it seemed sick and Ton gave it to another kid. Weston really wanted to get a pig, but their were 2 pigs for about 150 kids his age. Ty and Lex tried to get bunnies, but just ran in circles and Wes tried to direct Lex were to go, but I think she got nervous. We also enjoyed the chicken BBQ.
