O Christmas Time, O Christmas Time...

These are pictures of our West party, minus Tony (who had to work),Jason/Carrie and Jess/Puck/Josie. We had dinner at Jen/Zach's and then watched a nativity power point that our friend Sharon Evans put together and then we drove down to the hospital to play Ripple (w/Phase 10 cards) and help pass time for Jessica in Labor.
The next morning, the kids and I had breakfast at Tony's parents with his brother, sisters and family and his Hanson relatives (Tony's moms' brothers, etc). Tony drove out after his grave yard shift and surprised all of us. His mom was so excited and so was I. He always loves to surprise us anyway he can, then he turned around and drove back home, to work that night. So he basically was up for 48 hours-Sorry hun!

The kids were so excited for Christmas this year. The kids were in 7th Heaven. We told them that Santa was coming a day earlier, because Tony had to work on Christmas day. So when parents have to work, Santa makes special arrangements, to let families have Christmas together.
Weston loved getting Star Wars ships and figurines. Alexa loved all her barbie house and car and clothes. Ty was more interested in Weston's things, he just wanted Star Wars. Santa surprised them with a WII and they loved every minute of it. We had such a great time with the kids.

Welcome Josie J.

My little sister Jessica and her husband Puck had their first baby on December 20, 2008. She weighed 7 pounds 12 oz., 19 1/2 inches, 12:33 p.m.. Josie J. is so beautiful. It was a long 28 hours for Jess, but she was a trooper.

Here are some pics of us after she was born and waiting in the waiting room...

November gone in a Flash!

I swear another month just flew by. I haven't been able to download my pictures lately, but when I do, I will definitely post them.

Well, on November 5th, Weston celebrated his 7th birthday. I can't believe he is that old now. The years have flown by so fast. He loved getting Star Wars guys and a plane and he wanted a suit for church and shoes to look like a missionary. He said it would make it be better at church. I am still hoping for that day (LOL).

My little Sis, Jessica, had 2 showers. Mom, Jenni and I went up to Clearfield for her Heriford side and then Tauni, Carrie and I, and Sharon and Margaret (family friends)threw her one her in Roosevelt at Tauni's. She got some wonderful stuff for little Josie that should be here any day. Best of Luck Jess and Puck- we can't wait to see your baby girl!

I went to the midnight showing opening night of "Twilight." I loved it. Tauni, mom, Steph and Amy from work and some of their friends, Sharon and Desiree. I also went in St. George with my sisters and mother in-laws. Tonys sisters didn't like the movie, but I am glad they went. I loved seeing the book on movie. It even made me get the audiobook to listen on my i-pod on the way to and from St.George just to see what was missing in the movie. I know I am a nerd, but I loved it!

Tony is still recovering and trying to get better from being so sick. His doctor made him take a mandatory 3 weeks off. He and his brothers & bro in-laws went down to mom/dads place in St.George for a couple of days prior to the kids and I coming. They had their annually golf tourney. This year Nick one again (3-peat). They found a green jacket and Tony's mom presented Nick with the prize money. He got a trophy and it was a kick to see.

The kids and I came down to St.George Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I met my 3 nephews in Orem and had Alexa go down with the girls the next day. I had a van load of 5 boys under 7. They did great. They loved playing gameboys and watching Clone Wars.

I loved Thanksgiving. We had a great time. I think we had 25 on Tony's immediate family all there between two places for 4 days. I baked homemade pies and lasagna for one of the nights. I loved having time to just bake and enjoy time relaxing because I don't get much of that.

I didn't do the big shopping night/day with my in-laws, I was seriously so tired. I had most of my shopping done and didn't want to spend more, because I usually well, if I find something that isn't on my list- I know bad! Thanks Sarah, for getting the extra little things for me at Walmart at 4:50 in the morning.

I did run to bath and body that afternoon, on the way out, Alexa tripped at the exit map and her body was the length of it and she hit her forhead in the corner of the door. Blood was everywhere, Ty was running towards the open exit door- it was chaotic. I appreciate the 3 ladies that were helping me out and all the strangers offering a hand to help Ali's head to stop bleeding. (Tony was getting the Santa present and it was the last in the store). Not to mention, Weston went wondering looking for his dad. Needless to say, we had to take Ali to the insta-care and get 4 stiches after a 2 hour wait. She was so awesome. She said she put a spell (like on Wizards of Waverly place on Disney) on her- the Freeze-a-canial (sp?). She didn't move an inch and she did awesome. In fact Tony took the stiches out today.

Well in St. George, I went to 2 other movies- 4 Christmas's and Bolt. I love movies!

We also did Tony's big family pictures. We had a great time with everyone.

Yesterday, the kids and I drove up to Dutch John (by Flaming Gorge) and went to the Jarvie Historic Ranches, Old Fashioned Christmas. My brother, Jason, works for the BLM in Vernal, and he did/helped in a big way. The kids loved making ropes, leather purse, gettinga handmade horseshoe and a wagon ride. The also got to see Santa clause being rowed in on the Green River by Uncle Jason. We had a great time and Jason and his crew did a great job!
