Many people have asked me lately how I have lost over 30 pounds the past six months. Well, here is my secret. I joined a great program called Live the Life (Kristi Approved). It has been amazing. It has had all my meals for the week, grocery lists and daily exercises. I have never felt better in my life. Please check out this link for further information. September- 9 Year Anniversary
For our 9th Anniversary, we went to the KILLERS concert. We had a great time. We were right down by the front. We waited for hours in general admission then, thru 2 bands until we got to hear the band. It was awesome. We are huge fans of the group. We then got to stay at the Castle Creek Inn. It was wonderful. Thanks Mom West for taking the kiddos for the weekend for us. We had a great time1

Tyler started Pre-school
Tyler is in the Duchesne County Preschool. He is growing up so fast. Mom West came down to see him and Gavin (my nephew) get on the bus. It was so cute. We have 5 boys total in our neighborhood that go. They love it.

More Fishing, Ward Campout
Tony and Weston got to do a lot of fishing in August. We also went to our ward campout up in Uintah Canyon. Alexa got her hair stuck in the tent zipper, luckily we got it out without damage. Tyler loved being with Gavin.
That night at the ward campout, everyone had campers except us and another family. It was downpour rain. The kids finally fell asleep, but then water started coming thru our tent. One side, then the middle then the other end. We basically had little rivers in our tent. Tony and I were up until around 3 am. Tony decided to go fishing at that time. Before leaving he said "I guess with tents and a system of quality from 1 to 10, our tents a 3. Its a Desert tent. Lovely. What a night. I think I had to pee like 10 times and had to keep going out of the tent with big boots, flashlight to the bathroom, drenched, every time.

Starting School and Wyoming
LOOK WHO STARTED SCHOOL!
Weston and Alexa are now in the same school. I can't believe that they are growing up so fast. Weston started school last Monday- 2nd Grade in Mr. Christensen's class (Mr. C as Weston says). Alexa started all day Kindergarten today. She has Mrs. Huber. She was so excited to meet new friends and get to learn new things. We did a fun project over the weekend with her to take to school- a little Alexa. We made a dress and bedazzeled bracelets and shoes. It was adorable and we had a lot of fun.
We went up to Thayne/Star Valley Wyoming area over the 24th of July. We stayed at my brother-in-laws families place. It was beautiful and on a gorgeous golf course. The kids loved swimming and playing with each other. I went golfing with Tony and Todd/Harmony. I am not a golfer. I did hit a house with the ball that went sideways instead of straight :)
We went up to Jackson Hole for a day. We did the Alpine Slide. The kids loved it. Weston loved going fast, but later, lost his lunch on the plank sidewalks in Jackson.
Eating lunch at a pizzeria with everyone.
Our Family and Todd/Harmony's Family. We missed not having Sarah/Trevor and Jeff/Mandy and their kiddos!

As days fly by....
BEWARE-Long Post/Journal:
Lets see, oh ya I need to finish up about our trip to Florida. Well on May 14th, we took the red eye to Ft. Lauderdale, leaving SLC at 1 am. The kids were such troopers. Lex was asleep before we took off. (Mom West took Tyler which was a relief to not have to chase him everywhere, but we did miss him-Thanks MOM). We got to watch any movie we wanted to, it was a nice flight to Atlanta, but then not such much for the hr from Atlanta to Ft. Lauderdale. Two guys were flitering with eachother and never stopped talking. We arrived in Ft. Lauderdale at 9 am, exhausted and tired.
We got off the airplane, thinking we were landing in Miami airport (as the same thing-but not), I had booked our rental van at the wrong airport. That cost us a lovely extra $100, which wasn't fun. Good thing we had Mom Ivins and she handled everything so smoothly, I was a little stressed and feeling stupid.
We got our rental van and had our mapquest maps and made it Tony's parents hotel (5 min from Jessica) and then unpacked at Jess's. We rested for a couple of hours and showered, then off for adventures.
We decided to go find Hollywood Beach. We had a great time there, the kids loved the beach. It was beautiful. After a couple of hours, we had some food at a restaurant on the boardwalk. On the way back, we decided to use Jess/Puck's GPS. What a life saver. It saved so much time to get back. We decided to call the GPS "BABE". (Never will we vacation without one).
We loved playing with Jess/Josie (my niece)and getting to see Puck when he wasn't working.
The next day we did the dolphin swim at Miami Sea Aqurium. Tony and his mom swam with the dolphins and the kids and I did an encounter. We had a great time. On the way back, we drove through downtown Miami and did a stop at South Beach. We had a lot of fun digging for seashells and riding the waves. I just loved watching my kids. Tony's parents were having a great time as well.
The next day it rained a little in the morning and then we decided to go on a gator ride in the Everglades. We saw about 5 alligators, tons of beautiful peacocks, lots of vultures, etc.
That night, we went to a Florida Marlins game against the Dodgers (the stadium was only 10 minutes from Jess). We were bummed that Manny didn't play, but had fun anyway. Weston was in heaven. Tony, Wes and ma/dad Ivins went a couple of hours earlier to watch the teams warm-up. They loved it. Lexa/I rode with Jess/Puck and Josie. Josie didn't like the game as much only being 5 months old, it was a little to loud. On the 8th inning it started to rain, a lot of people left, we ended up staying and watching the awesome fireworks after the rain.
On Sunday morning, we went to Haliegh to sacrament (about 20 min away), then we drove down to Ft. Lauderdale beach. It was beautiful. We played for a couple of hours then took Ton's parents to the airport. We tried to fit a lot of things in with them while they were with us. We had a blast!
From Monday-Thursday, it rained a lot! We caught a couple of movies, went out to dinner, shopped, and the boys went to 3 more baseball games that week (against Arizona, etc).
We loved our time down there and enjoying The Heriford family. We surely do miss them!
Weston finished 1st grade. I can't believe he will be in 2nd. He loved Miss Eberhard and we will surely miss her.
Tony also couched Weston's pitch machine league "The Mets." They had a great time and Weston loved every minute and met some good friends.
Alexa missed her preschool graduation, but we surely loved Miss Angie. She also missed her tumbling review. She has loved it.
Tyler is just growing like a weed. He loves his bike, cars, making any loud noise to accompany his toys, etc.
Over memorial day, my siblings (except Jess) all came out with their families. We ended up at mom/dad West's because a new water system is going up by the cabin. We had a great time celebrating Jenni/Tony's b-days, playing games, eating, etc. My family also surprised us and helped us finish up our play yard, mow the lawn and pull weeds. It was awesome to have the extra hands.
Tony celebrated his 32nd birthday. I surprised him with the Bells, Ross', Baldwins' families and Dad being here at the house when he got home. We had a great time.
Also, that weekend, Tony's whole family came out and we had an awesome weekend playing, running around, BBQ's, dinosaur museum, golf games/tournaments. It was a blast. We are greatly to also use my parents house to have a place for everyone to sleep.
The kids did 2 weeks of swimming lessons and enjoyed doing them. All year long, I get asked when will the pool be open?
Weston also is on a traveling Baseball team- The Roosevelt Strikes. He loves it. Over the 4th of July weekend, he played in South Jordan, Park City and Oakley. We loved Tony's family coming and supporting him.
We went to an Owlz game at UVU on the 3rd. We loved watching the game with Tony's family and watching fireworks afterwards.
We also got to enjoy the Stadium of Fire w/Jonas Brothers concert. Alexa was loving it. Weston wasn't too excited to go, but said "I guess my sister supported me all weekend, I'll go." He loved it to. The fireworks were amazing and the burning of the flag ceremony was beautiful.
Tony has also been enjoying working/watering the fields on my dads ranch "The Ridge" all summer. It is so beautiful and peaceful. We hope one day to build on a couple of acres. The kids also loving going up to help.
The summer is just flying by, soon school will be here- CRAZY! Sorry for the long post.
